My name is Sylvain Allard.

 

Welcome to my website! I hope you will enjoy my work and thank you for your visit.

I am a 3D artist specialized as a character modeler and a technical modeler.  I am currently working at  ReelFX in Montreal.

 

A little bit about me!

I’m passionate about 3D animation since my childhood.  I was impressed by the amazing visuals in movies like “Jurassic Park” and ‘’World of Warcraft’’.  Since then, this passion has evolved to include comics. It took me a few years of working in different departments with different roles in the 3D industry to figure out what I wanted to excel in this wonderful world of nonstop creativity. This allows me to be a well-rounded artist today. The department where I landed is  3D modeling. I specialized in modeling characters, vehicles, and objects of all kinds. I love it and I don’t see the time fly.

Currently, I have the chance to work in this industry and grow my passion for comic movies. Every day, I develop my production capacity and speed.  I have the ability to adapt quickly to platform changes while remaining up to date with the evolution of methods.  I am constantly learning and improving my knowledge. During my career, I was fortunate enough to work with teams where there was a fantastic mix of age groups and experience from all different 3D industries.

 

In my other interests besides the cinema, I enjoy reading, photography, sculpture, construction, design, and keeping up with staying active and in shape!
